Watch out!

Here a new page of my journal, 7 April I had my car accident, and it keeps spinning in my head, So I thought I give it a page in my journal. For me it's a kind of busy page, like a comic book haha. A lot to see and a lot to tell!

Angels



This one was fun, I was painting my pages of my art journal, and it was

not going as I would like to go. I put a lot of paint on a page and let it

drip down, I didn't like it so I closed the journal, and I opened it again

and there it was.........angel wings.....

Chicken

It's eastern here today, and because of that I had in mind to make a
chicken. haha. It cost me a lot of power, pain, to make the page, every 5
minutes a break because of my neck.

I really like the colors and I used some real feathers for fun.

Take it slow!

 

7 April, I had an car accident, and unfortunately I have a whiplash so I have to take it slow. It's hard for me to sit on a table for a long time. But I will not let it take me down, and I will try to make some things, because it keeps me off thinking, and clears my mind.

Strange Things

Today I finished this page, and somehow it's my favorite!!

I really like how it turned out.

This time I made some photo's to let you see in a few steps, how I make a journal page.I work on aquarelic paper, and a week ago I painted all the pages of my journal. This is what I started with, I took some images from a magazine (like 20 magazines haha). I took a painted page on my journal and the rest had to go on in my head.

For this project I took a page in my journal, but it was not really the color what I had in mind, so.......I changed it haha. Also I had some fight with the orange...it had to leave too haha.I had in mind to do something with the sky and some buildings. So I took some distress ink from tim holtz, and I started to recolor the background. I looked for a image with a building and put it on the page. When I was doing that I really liked to make some wings, to make the character really strange. I took a piece of paper, and I painted some wings with gesso, I like the texture it gave my wings.

After that I glued everything on the journal page, the wings not totally because I like to have it a flying effect, some kind of reality.

I had a quote in my head, just by making the page, and it has a meaning of my personal life. So I used some markers, a little bit red paint, and I really love this page.

Starting a new journal

This week I started a new journal, I have been busy with the backgrounds.Some are great some are not haha. But that will change when that page come up for "pimp up the page" ;-).

One page is already finished that would be this one, it's allready on my blog.

I have signed in for the month April on art journal everyday blog and I hope I have the time to work on my journal a lot.

I had a lot of ideas but not enough time to do it....

I also have made a new journal page, it's about the surprises

in life, I really like how it turned out!

For texture I used some pattern paper and some real

gold foil. You can't see it really on this photo, but it looks

really great in real.
